Race incidents leaves Winterbottom Last at Silverstone

Mark Winterbottom picked up his 1st last-place finish of his eSupercars career when his #18 Irwin Tools Holden finished under power, 1 lap down in the first race at Silverstone. The finish came in Winterbottom’s 4th race start.

Will Davison in the #23 Milwaukee Racing Ford started the race in the rear, however something happened with Mark Winterbottom in the #18 Irwin Tools/FUCHS Holden during the race, likely contact at some point that left him last.

Rounding out the bottom five was Chris Pither in the #22 Coca-Cola Holden, Jake Kostecki in the #344 ntl Holden, Jack Smith in the #4 SCT Logistics Holden and Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden.
