Early race crash leaves Jack Smith last at Barcelona


Jack Smith picked up his 1st last-place finish of his eSeries career when his #4 SCT Logistics Holden finished under power, 2 lap down in the 1st race at Barcelona. The finish came in Smith’s 6th start.

Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden started the race in the rear, but at the start Jack Smith in the #4 SCT Logistics Holden suddenly spun off and crashed into Zane Goddard in the #34 UNIT Holden, the crash losing Smith 2 laps and leaving him last.

Rounding out the bottom five was Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden after an early race crash, Scott Pye in the #20 DeWalt Holden, Zane Goddard in the #34 ndl Holden and Alex Davison in the #19 Local Legends Jerky Biltong.
