Back-to-Back last-place finishes puts Jack Smith on top in eSeries last-place championship

Jack Smith picked up his 2nd last-place finish of his career when his #4 SCT Logistics Holden finished under power, 4 laps down in the final race at Barcelona. The finish came in Smith’s 7th start.

Once again Jame Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden started the race in the rear, but a large melee on lap one in the first few corners set out the bottom five. Jack Smith in the #4 SCT Logistics Holden was caught in the crash, and fell to the rear.

Rounding out the bottom five were fellow crash victims Bryce Fullwood in the #2 Middy's Electrical Holden, Todd Hazelwood in the #14 Plus Fitness Holden, Scott Pye in the #20 DeWalt Holden and Chaz Mostert in the #25 Appliances Online/Mobil 1 Holden.
