Original by Speedcafe, edited by me.

Fabian Coulthard picked up the 15th last-place finish of his career when his #19 Local Legends Holden retired with a broken Driveshaft after 17 of the race’s 32 laps. The finish came in Coulthard’s 459th start.

Fabian Coulthard is a veteran of Supercars, having been around for 14 full-time years. He was 14th in Practice 1 and 2, but was the slowest in Race 22 Qualifying.

Fabian Coulthard in the #19 Local Legends Holden started the race in the rear, but quickly Macauley Jones in the #96 Coca-Cola Holden had fallen to the rear. At the end of Lap 1, Jake Kostecki in the #34 UNIT Holden had fallen to the rear.

Midway through Lap 1 Todd Hazelwood in the #14 Dunlop Holden ran over the back of Tim Slade in the #3 Cooldrive Distribution Ford, damaging the steering on car #14, sending him to the garage and down to last.

Lap 16 saw Fabian Coulthard in the #19 Local Legends Holden enter the race for last place, pulling into the garage with a Driveshaft failure on Lap 17, dropping to last on Lap 20.

Rounding out the Bottom Five was Todd Hazelwood in the #14 Dunlop Holden, Zane Goddard in the #35 Yellow Cover Holden, Garry Jacobson in the #22 Muscle Car Warehouse Holden and Scott Pye in the #20 DeWalt/Nulon Holden.

Disqualification leaves Anton De Pasquale last at Sydney

Original by Supercars, edited by me.
Anton De Pasquale picked up the 5th last-place finish of his career when his #11 Shell V-Power Ford was Disqualified for a tire violation after -32 of the race's 32 laps. The finish came in Anton's 109th start.

Anton has been a standout young gun of Supercars. In his 4th full-time season, he has shone as a driver. He swept both Practices, and Qualifying, being the fastest in all three.

Fabian Coulthard picked up the 14th last-place finish of his career when his #19 Local Legends Holden finished under power, 1 lap down in the second race of the quadruple header at Sydney Motorsport Park. The finish came in Coulthard's 458th start.

Garry Jacobson in the #34 UNIT Holden started the race in the rear, but during the first lap last-place was exchanged with Garry Jacobson in the #22 Muscle Car Warehouse Holden and Zane Goddard in the #35 Yellow Cover Holden, with Goddard falling to last by Lap 2.

Tim Slade in the #3 Cooldrive Holden was the first to pit on lap 7, dropping to the rear. He was followed by Scott Pye in the #20 DeWalt/Nulon Holden on lap 8. Lap 12 saw Zane Goddard in the #35 Yellow Cover Holden pitted and fell to the rear. Lap 16 saw Jack Smith in the #4 SCT Logistics Holden pitted and fell to the rear.

Garry Jacobson in the #22 Muscle Car Warehouse Holden pitted on lap 18, dropping to the rear. He held last until teammate Fabian Coulthard in the #19 Local Legends Holden fell behind him, where he remained for the rest of the race. However, during the pit-stop Dick Johnson Racing used Will Davison’s tires on Anton’s car, netting Anton a disqualification.

Rounding out the Bottom Five was original last-placer Fabian Coulthard in the #19 Local Legends Holden, Garry Jacobson in the #22 Muscle Car Warehouse Holden, Jake Kostecki in the #34 UNIT Holden and Zane Goddard in the #35 Yellow Cover Holden
