First lap contact leaves Reynolds last at Albert Park

David Reynolds picked up his 2nd last-place finish at Albert Park when his #9 Penrite Holden retired with Steering damage on the opening lap of the final race at Albert Park.

Jason Bright in the #8 BOC Holden started the race in the rear after a disastrous Albert Park round, but at the first corner David Reynolds in the #9 Penrite Holden had a collision with Nick Percat in the #222 SP Tools Holden, damaging the Suspension on car #9 and dropping him to last. Next to fall out was Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden after a Mechanical failure on lap 3.

Rounding out the bottom five was Aaren Russel in the #4 Plus Fitness Holden, Chris Pither in the #111 Ice Break Ford and Andre Heimgartner in the #3 SP Tools Holden.
