Multiple crashes leaves McLean last in Carnage led eSeries at Charlotte

Matt McLean picked up the 1st last-place finish of the 2021 eSeries event when his #54 Shure Holden was involved in multiple crashes that eventually ended his race after 33 of the race's 38 laps.

Sam Brabham in the #10 Brabham Mustang started the race in the rear, but immediately Tony D'Alberto in the #923 Logitech  Mustang fell to the rear after contact.

Contact between Dylan O’Keefe in the #22 Premiair Hire Holden, Andre Heimgartner in the #7 NED Mustang and Matt McLean in the #54 Shure Holden left firstly McLean last, then OKeefe dropped to last shortly afterwards. Tony D'Alberto then crashed on Lap 11 trying to get into the pitlane.

Scott Pye in the #20 DeWalt entry lost 4 laps starting Lap 11, dropping to the rear Lap 15.

On the restart on lap 19, Tony D'Alberto, Sam Brabham, Scott Pye and Matt McLean were all fighting for the last place 3 laps down. Brabham lost 2 more laps in the chaos, despite a massive crash between the leaders, Jake Kostecki in the #35 Yellow Cover  Holden and Matt Chada in the #18 Shannons Mustang.
