Pit-Lane Penalty leaves Blake Purdie last at the Red Bull Ring

Blake Purdie picked up his 1st last-place finish of the 2021 Pro eSeries event after his #48 Shannons Mustang finished under power, 1 lap down in the first race at Red Bull Ring.

Sam Backlock in the #23 squftx Holden started the race in the rear, but by Lap 4 Brady Meyers in the #22 Shell V-Power Mustang had dropped to the rear.

The first round of pitstops saw Corey Shepherd in the #718 Pioneer DJ Mustang fell to the rear, then Wayne Bourke in the #89 Shannons Mustang pitted and fell to the rear.

Lap 7 saw Jordan Caruso in the #12 Repco Mustang pitted and fell to the rear, then Lap 9 saw Blake Purdie in the #48 Shannons Mustang copping a pit-lane penalty for Contact, and when he took it, he dropped to last, where he stayed for the rest of the race.


Rounding out the Bottom Five was Wayne Bourke in the #89 Penrite entry, Corey Shepherd in the #718 Pioneer DJ Mustang, Jordan Caruso in the #12 Repco Mustang, and Simon Feigl in the #83 Shure Holden
