Hard crash leaves Zak Best last at Philip Island

 Zak Best picked up the 1st last-place finish of his eSeries All-Stars campaign in the fourth race at Philip Island when he was involved in a single car crash that ended his race after 5 of the race’s 15 laps.


Zak Best in the #98 BP Ultimate Ford started in the rear, but Jayden Ojeda in the #2 NTI/Mobil 1 Holden fell to the rear, then Matt Chada in the #33 Swytfx Holden fell to last.

Cameron Crick in the #38 Pizza Hut Holden went off and fell to last.

By Lap 5 Aaron Borg in the #14 Middy's Electrical Holden had pitted and fallen to last, then Matt Chada in the #33 Swyftx Holden had fallen behind Borg.

A crash on Lap 7 at Siberia caused Zak Best in the #98 BP Ultimate Ford to fall to last, out of the race.


Rounding out the Bottom Five was Matt Chada in the #33 Swyftx Holden, Aaron Borg in the #14 Middy's Electrical Holden flew off at Turn 1 on Lap 12 and wound up a lap down, Jake Kostecki in the #56 Tradie Ford and Jackson Walls in the #20 Nulon Holden
