Early big crash leaves Webster last at Michigan

Cooper Webster picked up his 1st last-place finish of his career when his #5 Seiko Holden finished under power, 3 laps down in the 2nd race at Michigan. The finish came in Webster's 10th start.

After winning race 1, Jarrad Filsell in the #38 Red Bull Holden started the race in the rear, but early on Brady Meyers in the #22 Pioneer DJ Ford got into Harley Haber in the #35 Kubota Holden. In the aftermath, Josh Muggleton in the #81 Shure Ford crashed into Cooper Webster in the #5 Seiko Holden, Haber and Shane Van Gisbergen in the #97 Red Bull Holden, severely damaging Muggleton's, Van Gisbergen's and Webster's cars, dropping them all far back and sent Webster to last, where he would remain for the rest of the race.

Rounding out the bottom five was Ben Smith in the #151 NED Ford after late-race contact and Jake Blackhall in the #24 Jeff Gordon Tribute Holden after a late-race crash.
