Lap 2 crash leaves Bright last in Sprint for the Grid.

Original by Supercars, edited by me.
Jason Bright picked up his 1st Race for the Grid last-place finish of his career when his #18 Preston Hire/Fuchs Holden was involved in a single-car crash after 2 of the race's 20 laps.

Steve Owen in the #56 Rabble.club Ford started the race in the rear. Late on lap 1, Alex Rullo in the #78 Harvey Norman/LG Super UHD TV Retro Nissan collided with Warren Luff in the #2 Mobil 1/Boost Mobile Holden, and subsequently at the start of lap 2, Rullo went wildly off the road at turn 1, dropping to the rear. Rullo would eventually retire with brake issues on lap 14, having completed 12 laps.

Suddenly, on lap 3, Jason Bright in the #18 Preston Hire/Fuchs Holden was spun by Warren Luff in the #2 - Holden, ending his race and dropping him to the rear on lap 6.

Next to fall out was Bryce Fulwood in the #35 Bigmate/Optus Ford who was put in the fence by another car on lap 12, ending his race. Rullo followed Fulwood out shortly afterwards. Rounding out the Bottom Five is Richard Muscat in the #34 Wilson Security/Garry Rogers '83 Tribute Holden and Warren Luff in the #2 Mobil 1/Boost Mobile Holden.
