Mid-Race dramas leaves Blackhall last at Interlagos

Jake Blackhall picked up his 2nd last-place finish of his Repco Supercars Pro Eseries when his #97 Puresims Holden finished under power, 2 laps down in the first race at Interlagos. The finish came in Blackhall’s 16th start.


Jake Blackhall in the #97 Puresims Holden started the race in the rear, but Emily Jones in the #99 BP Ultimate Holden fell to the rear, then James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holen fell to the rear after being run off the track. By lap 3, however, Brady Meyers in the #22 Pioneer DJ Ford had fallen to the rear, with Golding, also passing Ben Smith in the #151 NED Ford.

By Lap 8 however Jackson Souslin-Harlow in the #3 Cub Cadet Holden had fallen to the rear, though Jake Blackhall returned to last by the end of the race.


Rounding out the bottom five was James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holden, Emily Jones in the #99 BP Ultimate Ford, and Josh Anderson in the #19 Local Legends Jerky Biltong Holden.
