Early race crash leaves Macauley Jones last at Silverstone

Macauley Jones picked up his 2nd last-place finish of his eSeries career when his #3 Cooldrive Distribution Holden finished under power, 3 laps down in the 2nd race at Silverstone. The finish came in Jones’ 5th start.

After winning race 1, Anton De Pasquale in the #99 Penrite Oils Holden started the race in the rear, and early on Macauley Jones in the #3 Cooldrive Distribution Holden was involved in a crash that broke his rear wing and boot, and while initially he stayed ahead of Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Holden and Will Davison in the #23 Milwakee Ford, also involved in similar crashes, he fell behind late in the race.

Rounding out the bottom five was Will Davison in the #23 Milwakee Ford after colliding with a spinning Jamie Whincup in the #88 Red Bull Racing Holden, damaging both cars, Scott Pye in the #20 De Walt Holden and Jack Smith in the #4 SCT Logistics Holden, all four after crashes.
