"Baptism of FIre" ends with Bayley Hall finishing last at Queensland Raceway.

Bayley Hall (#15 Supercheap Auto Chevrolet) finished last for the first time in his career. The finish came under power, 1 lap down in the first race at Queensland Raceway. The finish came in Hall’s debut start.

Bayley Hall started his climb towards Supercars through the Keema Cars Excel Cup in 2017. Hall moved to Aussie Tin Tops in 2020, where he won 2 rounds and the championship. He then tested Porsche Carrera Cup machinery for McElra Racing at the end of the year. Hall would join the team the following year and finish 5th in the Pro category with a Philip Island podium.

Hall stepped up to the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia in 2022 and finished 19th in the points with a best result of 7th at Townsville.

Hall continued Porsche racing for several years, getting two wins at Surfer’s Paradise on course to a 6th place points finish.

Hall won four races in 2024 and finished 5th overall.

Hall switched teams in 2025 to EMA Motorsports. He won the junior title that year and finished fourth in the pro standings.

Hall then signed with Eggleston Motorsport in 2026 to race in Super2 and made his debut in the main game at Queensland Raceway.

Hall was 15th in Practice 1, but slid to 22nd in Practice 2. Hall slipped to 25th in Qualifying.

Aaron Seton (#30 Superior Cranes Chevrolet) started last. Off the start, fellow wildcard Bayley Hall (#15 Supercheap Auto Chevrolet) struggled to get off the line, dropping behind Seton for last place. Hall and Seton battled for last during the first few laps.

Lap 5 saw pit stops start. Jayden Ojeda (#31 Nulon Chevrolet) fell to last during his pit stop.

Lap 6 saw wildcard Ben Gomersall (#5 Unit Ford) fall behind Bayley Hall, though still 30 seconds ahead of Ojeda.

The reason for Gomersall’s position drop became clear later. Declan Fraser (#777 Nulon Chevrolet) copped a time penalty for contact with the former.

Eight laps pass before more pit stops start. Zach Bates (#10 Bendix Chevrolet) pitted on lap 14. He fell behind Ojeda, relegated to last. Macauley Jones (#96 JWL Toyota) pitted a lap later. Jones fell behind Bates.

A lap later, Jobe Stewart (#9 Argus Auctions/Mackay Goodwin Chevrolet) pitted and inherited last.

Stewart held last until Lap 23 when Bayley Hall pitted and fell behind. Hall would stay last for the rest of the race. Hall lost a lap to race winner Matt Payne with 3 laps to go.

The other two wildcards filled 26th (Aaron Seton) and 25th (Ben Gomersal). Macauley Jones and Declan Fraser completed the Bottom Five.
