Robert Dahlgren picked up his 1st
Last Place finish of his career when his #34 Gary Rodgers Valvoline Volvo
retired with Gearbox dramas before the start of the race. The finish
came in Dahlgren's 4th start.
Robert Dahlgren has struggled in his
first season in V8 Supercars, finishing most of his race's in the
bottom five. Dahlgren didn't even make the start of the race, coming
into the pit-lane when everyone was lining up in the grid.
Rounding out the bottom five was Scott McLaughlin who struggled early, pulling into the garage with engine woes and although he made it back out, he only made a few corners before the engine completely failed, bringing out the first safety-car of the race. James
Courtney and Tim Slade, who were part of a four-car accident on lap 19
and Nick Percat who tangled with David Reynolds on the same lap, with the former 2

The last time a non-Australian or New
Zelander finished last in this series was frenchman Alexandre Premat when he
crashed on the opening lap of the second Winton race last year.
