Netcode issues leaves Blackhall last at Bathurst

Jake Blackhall picked up his 1st last-place finish of his career when his #97 Puresims eSports Holden retired after 2 of the race's 14 laps. The finish came in Blackhall's 8th start.

After winning Race 1, Josh Rodgers in the #25 Appliances Online Holden started Race 2 in the rear, but off the start, but by Turn 1 Dayne Warren in the #2 Middy's Electrical Holden. Andrew Gilliam in the #44 Boost Mobile Holden was then turned into the wall at Turn 3, spinning wildly and dropping to the rear, but he would not finish last, and would continue circling.

By then Blackhall had already retired, and following him out was Brodie Kostecki in the #9 Penrite Oils Holden collided with Harley Haber in the #35 Kubuta Holden, the resulting crash at Reed Park ended Kostecki's race on Lap 8.

Rounding out the Bottom Five was Zane Goddard in the #35 UNIT Holden, Andrew Gilliam in the #44 Boost Mobile Holden and Jared Filsell in the #38 Red Bull Holden.

Netcode issues leaves Harlow last at Bathurst

Jackson Souslin Harlow picked up his 1st last-place finish of his Repco Supercars Pro eSeries career when his #3 Club Cadet Holden finished under power, 2 laps down in the first race at Bathurst. The finish came in Harlow's 7th start.

Brodie Kostecki in the #9 Penrite Oils Holden started the race in the rear, but at the start Zane Goddard in the #34 UNIT Holden fell to the rear. At turn 1 Josh Anderson in the #19 Local Legends Holden had an incident on lap 1, dropping a lap and fell to the rear.

Jackson Souslin-Harlow in the #3 Club Cadet Holden dropped a couple of laps during the Safety Car on lap 11, and remained last for the rest of the race.

The rest of the Bottom Five, Brady Meyers in the #22 Pioneer DJ Ford, Brodie Kostecki in the #99 Penrite Oils Holden, Jake Blackhall in the #97 Puresims eSports Holden and Ethan Grigg-Gault in the #117 Shannons Insurance Ford were all caught in a big crash on the final lap at the cutting.

Early race incidents leaves Haber last at Barcelona

Harley Haber picked up his 1st last-place finish of his Repco Pro eSeries career when his #35 Kubota Holden retired with crash damage after 5 of the race's 20 laps. The finish came in Haber's 6th start.

Benjamin Smith in the #151 NED Ford started the race in the rear, but by turn 3 James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holden fell to the rear. Then, Brady Meyers in the #22 Pioneer DJ Ford fell to the rear. Ben Smith in the #151 Castrol/LG Ford pitted and fell to the rear.

Harley Haber in the #35 Kubota Holden suddenly pulled into the pit-lane on Lap 5, dropping to the rear, and when Golding pitted by Lap 10 and dropped to the rear.

By Lap 12, however, both Harley Haber in the #35 Kubota Holden and Ethan-Grigg Gault in the #117 Shannona Racing Ford had fallen off the tracker, the latter disconnecting mid-way through the race.

Rounding out the Bottom 5 was Jake Blackhall in the #97 Puresins eSports Holden after late-race retirement, Jackson Souslin-Harlow in the #3 Club Cadet Holden, who pulled out with damage from multiple incidents, and Josh Anderson in the #19 Local Legends Holden fell back in the field on the last lap.

Lap 1 flip leaves El-Nabi last in reverse grid race at Montreal

Fawzan El-Nabi picked up his 1st last-place finish of his career when his #98 BP Ultimate Ford finished under power, 1 lap down in the reverse grid race at Montreal.

Josh Muggleton in the #81 Shure Ford spun Fawzan El-Nabi #98 BP Ultimate Ford, the latter was then collected by Josh Rodgers in the #25 Appliances Holden, ending El Nabi's race.

Rounding out the Bottom five was Emily Jones in the #99 BP Ultimate Ford after a penalty and other carnage, Jackson Souslin Harlow in the #3 Club Cadet Holden, Jake Blackhall in the #97 Puresims eSports Holden and Harley Haber in the #35 Kubota Holden.

First Lap Carnage leaves Golding last at Montreal

James Golding picked up his 1st last-place finish of his Repco eSeries career when his #440 Siochrome Holden was taken out in a multi-car crash without completing a single lap of the race at Montreal. The finish came in Golding's 4th start.

James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holden started the race in the rear, but by Turn 4 Ben Smith in the #151 Castrol/LG Ford fell to the rear. Sam Blacklock in the #17 Shell V-Power Ford fell to the rear shortly afterwards.

Lap 1 pitstops saw James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holden fell to the rear during Lap 2,

Multiple drivers fell to the rear of the field, including Golding, Josh Muggleton in the #81 Shure Ford and Blacklock, who all had issues during the race, along with Jobe Stewart in the #999 Penrite Holden and Fawzan El-Nabi in the #98 BP Ultimate Holden. All five cars were damaged in early race carnage.

The order was James Golding in the #440 Siochrome Holden, Sam Blackloc in the #17 Shell V-Power Ford, Jobe Stewart in the #999 Penrite Holden, Fawzan El-Nabi in the #98 BP Ultimate Holden and Josh Muggleton in the #81 Shure Ford.

How Juniorgeneric defines a Last-Place finisher

Australian V8 LASTCAR'S Official Definition of a "Last-Place Finisher" (LPF)

For the purposes of the Australian V8 LASTCAR championship rankings and statistics, a "Last-Place Finisher" (LPF) is a driver(s) who, after qualifying for a V8 Supercars Championship Points-Paying race, the result must be confirmed from official sources, or unofficial sources failing that. Only one driver (or two in a endurance race) can be classified as the LPF for that race.

Meeting those requirements, the LPF can be any driver classified as such for any reason, including, but not limited to.
1) A "did not start" although it should be noted that there is a difference between my definition of "did not start" and Brock Beard's definition of "Did not Start".
For example, in Bathurst 2015 Chazz Mostert and Cameron Waters' #6 Pepsi Max Ford had a huge accident during practice that injured Mostert and all but wrote off the car. Car #6 was withdrawn, and therefore I don't count Mostert and Waters as finishing last. Under Brock Beard's definition, however, Mostert and Waters would have finished last instead of David Wall and Chris Pither.
2) An entrant who encounters an event once the race has started which prevents the driver(s) from finishing ahead of any other qualified entrants, including both DNFs and drivers who finish under power but laps down*

*Only when all the cars in the race are running ahead of the LPF

3) A decision to “start and park” the driver’s entry (Extremely rare in V8 Supercars)
(4) a disqualification handed down by V8 Supercars and/or track officials that subsequently classifies the driver(s) in the final position behind the unofficial LPF.

Australian V8 LASTCAR shall not consider the LPF as anything else, including but not limited too
1) Any DNQ's
2) Any driver's who's car withdrew before the race start.
3)The lowest-ranked driver who finishes the race under power (unless all cars finished under power, actually quite common in V8 Supercars)
4) A driver(s) who finished last initially, however post-race disqualifications usurped the spot.
5) A driver(s) who may be catagorised as finishing last for exhibition events (I may bring these back at some point in the near future, I need more accurate numbers for the events before I start them up again)
6) Anything in non-V8 Supercar Main game (again, insufficent historical data)
7) A driver who was running last when the checkered flag fell, however because they greeted the checkered flag but a drive who was in front of them at the end of the race, however was not running at the end of the race. In that instance the driver who doesn't finish the race will fall behind the driver whom is still running at the end of the race.

In the rare event where official results or a preponderance of unofficial results are later updated with more accurate information about who was the LPF for that event, Australian V8 LASTCAR rankings and statistics shall be updated to reflect that change.
