Jack LeBrocq (#9 Tyrepower Chevrolet) picked up the 19th last-place finish of his career. He finished 13 laps down in race 1 at Sandown. The finish came in LeBrocq’s 263rd start.

Jack LeBrocq is in his 8th full-time season, one of five 2018 rookies alongside Richie Stanaway, Anton De Pasquale, Todd Hazelwood, and James Golding. Jack is one of only two drivers who have had a ride through his eight years. Stanaway and Golding spent time out of the sport. Hazelwood has been out since replacing Brodie Kostecki at Erebus Motorsports for the first two races of 2024 because of mental health issues. Jack LeBrocq debuted with Tekno Autosports. He moved to Tickford in 2020 and won his first race with them. LeBrocq then moved to Matt Stone Racing in 2022. In 2023, he won his second race before moving to Erebus Motorsports in 2024.

Macauley Jones (#96 Pizza Hut Chevrolet) started the race last, but quickly jumped past Aaron Cameron (#3 Cooldrive Distribution Ford). By lap 2, rookie Jayden Ojeda (#62 Nulon Chevrolet) had dropped to last. Jones, Cameron, and Ojeda would battle for last in the early laps. Cameron would fall to last by Lap 5.

The first round of pit stops started on Lap 15 with Matt Payne (#19 Penrite Ford) pitting and dropping to last. Four laps later, James Courtney (#7 Snowy River Caravans Ford) pitted and fell behind Payne.

Cameron Hill (#4 Sherrin Rentals/Supaglass Chevrolet) pitted on Lap 21 and fell to last. Hill would hold last for another six laps.

Jack LeBrocq (#9 Tyrepower Chevrolet) pulled into the garage with electrical issues on Lap 27, losing 13 laps in repairs. With nobody else dropping out, LeBrocq would complete the race in last.

Nick Percat (#10 Bendix Chevrolet) finished the race second last. Followed by Aaron Cameron (#3 Cooldrive Distribution Ford). Then Jaxon Evans (#12 SCT Logistics Chevrolet) and Jayden Ojeda (#62 Nulon Chevrolet).
